Meet Anna Phillips-Brown (Bea) in LTA's "Something Rotten!"
What do you find appealing about your character and the show? I have always been attracted to Bea’s strength above all else. She loves her family and will stop at nothing to support them, with or without help from anyone else. She’s the definition of a self starter, and a powerful woman. What have you learned about yourself in playing the role of Bea? I’ve definitely learned a lot from Bea’s unapologetic persistence. Coming back into live theatre after(?) the pandemic has been very demanding and sometimes defeating, which is why Bea came at the exact right time for me. She reminds me every day that I define myself, my values and my future. What do you want the audience to experience/take away from this show? I hope the audience can take away a newfound sense of ambition and the biggest of belly laughs.
